A technical issue that was affecting the submission of electronic authorizations via the Availity Essentials portal for the past two days has been resolved.
While we anticipate stable performance, we understand the critical nature of authorization submissions. Therefore, we want to ensure you are aware of an alternative submission method should you experience any disruptions.
If you encounter any issues submitting authorization requests through the Availity Essentials portal in the coming days, please remember the following option:
- Urgent Requests: For urgent authorization requests that cannot be submitted via the portal, we recommend submitting them via fax. Fax forms are readily available here.
