Issue Identified and Corrected: Psychotherapy Procedure Code 90834

A recent system update incorrectly identified procedure code 90834 (psychotherapy) as an add-on procedure to primary code G0464, which had been discontinued.
Resolution: Highmark has removed G0464 as a primary code for 90834. Moving forward, claims submitted with procedure code 90834 will no longer reject due to a missing primary code.
In addition, a claims clean-up has been initiated to address any impacted claims prior to the removal of G0464. These claims will be adjusted accordingly to ensure proper payment.
