Delayed: Rollout of Certify Platform for Credentialing on Hold

  • DE

For: Professional and Facility Providers

Update (Feb. 27, 2026): Highmark is moving the incorporation of the CertifyOS platform into our credentialing and recredentialing processes for Delaware providers to later this year. Implementation will no longer occur on April 16, 2026, as first communicated on Feb. 17, 2026. The new date will be communicated in a future issue of Provider News and here on the Provider Resource Center’s Communications Hub.

Continue to use the current methods for credentialing and recredentialing:

We apologize for this inconvenience.

Original article (published Feb. 17, 2026): Effective April 16, 2026, Highmark will incorporate the CertifyOS platform into our credentialing and recredentialing processes for organizational and professional providers in Delaware.

What Is Changing?

Organizational Providers

To start the initial credentialing process, complete the Certify Initial Application for Facility and Ancillary Providers, which will be located on the Organizational Credentialing page of the Provider Resource Center (PRC).

To recredential with Highmark, complete the Certify Recredentialing Application for Facility and Ancillary Providers, also to be located on the PRC's Organizational Credentialing page.

*The CertifyOS portal, for initial credentialing and recredentialing for Delaware providers, will be available on April 16.

Continue to enroll in our health plan by registering with the Council for Affordable Quality Health Care (CAQH) and continue to complete the Initial Credentialing Request Form; at the end of the form, you will be directed to the CertifyOS Initial Credentialing intake portal.

Getting Started … with Certify

Once on the Certify portal, set up your user account. Follow the prompts. You’ll need the following information, as applicable to your provider type:

  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
  • CAQH ID
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number
  • Board certification
  • Proof of liability insurance
  • Email address
  • Resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Social Security number

Important: All uploaded documents should be in PDF format.

To begin the credentialing process, providers must complete the Highmark Provider Application located within the Certify intake portal.

Do I still need to complete the CAQH application?

keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, you will need to complete the CAQH application. Be sure to add Highmark as an authorized plan or grant global authorization. We also ask that you keep your CAQH profile up to date for the purpose of recredentialing.

Some providers may need to supply additional documents — such as Proof of Malpractice Insurance, Certificate of Insurance (COI), or Licensure — relevant to the credentialing and re-credentialing process. If you receive a request for additional documents, we ask that you respond in a prompt manner.

Your participation and ability to treat Highmark members doesn’t begin until you have successfully been credentialed and contracted by Highmark. Please do not see members or submit claims until you have been notified of acceptance into Highmark’s credentialed networks.
