HealthHelp: Guidance on Post-Service Authorization Requests

HealthHelp will process post-service authorization requests for genetic/molecular lab testing rendered on or after Oct. 1, 2026, for providers in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, and on or after Nov. 1, 2026, for providers in New York.
14-Day Post-Service Authorization Window
To be eligible, these requests must be submitted within 14 days of the date of service and must be received prior to the actual submission of the claim.
Authorization requests that do not meet these specific criteria will be managed by Highmark.
