Delaware Providers: New Credentialing Portal Launches Oct. 5

  • DE

For: Professional and Facility Providers

Beginning Oct. 5, 2026, organizational and professional providers in Delaware will use the CertifyOS Portal to credential with Highmark.

For the best experience, we encourage providers to create or activate their accounts as soon as the portal becomes available. Review the user guide to get started.

The Credentialing Process

From the CertifyOS platform, professional and organizational providers can:

  • Create an account using an email address and password.
    • Note: Each provider added requires a unique email address.
  • Add practitioners or facilities to their dashboard.
  • Submit initial credentialing applications.
  • Track credentialing and re-credentialing status in real time.
  • Organizational providers ONLY: Submit recredentialing applications.

Have You Used CertifyOS Previously?

If you have submitted a credentialing or recredentialing application previously through CertifyOS, you will receive an account activation email from CertifyOS beginning Oct. 5.

Activating your account enables you to:

  • View your previously submitted Highmark credentialing applications in one place.
  • Track the credentialing status of new practitioner and facility applications submitted through the portal.
  • Submit future applications through the portal.

Three Important Reminders

1. Respond Promptly to Requests for Additional Information

CertifyOS is a separate company that performs provider credentialing support services on behalf of Highmark. During the credentialing or recredentialing process, CertifyOS may contact you for additional information. Requests will come from outreach@certifyos.com. To avoid delays in credentialing review and approval, respond to requests as quickly as possible.

2. Credentialing Approval Does Not Mean You are Ready to Bill

Receiving credentialing approval does not automatically authorize billing. Before billing begins, providers must ensure contracting for credentialed networks like Medicare Advantage and Commercial PPO/HMO is complete and all agreements are executed.

Final activation includes:

  • Fully executed contracts.
  • Receipt of a welcome letter that includes the effective date of network participation.

3. Practitioner Recredentialing

  • Ensure the practitioner’s CAQH* ProView profile is fully up-to-date and re-attested.
  • Grant global access to Highmark within CAQH ProView.
  • Verify that all supporting documents (such as state licenses, DEA certificates, and malpractice insurance) are active. Incomplete, expired, or un-attested CAQH data will cause processing delays and can lead to network termination.
