You can now request an authorization extension for behavioral health (BH) outpatient therapy directly in Availity Essentials via Predictal.
That’s right, no more faxes or phone calls. Auth extensions can be requested electronically from the convenience of your office computer. It’s fast, simple, and easy.
You can initiate extension requests directly from the Authorization Detail screen in Predictal.
Note: Denied authorizations will not be eligible for extensions through the portal.
