Reflecting on a Year of Member Care

Looking back on this past year, we’d like to take a moment to thank the entire Highmark Wholecare provider network for your commitment to creating remarkable health experiences for our members. We recognize your singular role in caring for our members, and we truly value your willingness to partner with us. From improving communication and accessibility to focusing on key health outcomes, our collective efforts have positively impacted the lives of our members. This year, we have accomplished:

  • Improved Care Coordination: We strengthened processes to ensure members’ personal doctors have access to their medical records.
  • Focused Support for Highmark Wholecare D-SNP Members: We delivered culturally tailored campaigns and tools to support health literacy and better outcomes.
  • Enhanced Member Safety: We promoted fall prevention strategies
  • Empowered Healthy Lifestyles: We encouraged physical activity and monitored health outcomes for members facing unique challenges.


As we move into the new year, we will continue building on these successes. Upcoming efforts will include:

  • Driving CAHPS and HOS improvements by addressing key member concerns.
