Supporting Medicaid Members with Maternal Home Visitation Programs
Highmark Wholecare is collaborating with local community organizations across Pennsylvania to offer Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visitation Programs (MHV). These programs are designed to support the well-being of families and young children, and providers are encouraged to refer Medicaid Members who would benefit.

Please contact our Enhanced Member Supports Unit (EMSU) at 1-800-392-1147 to refer Highmark Wholecare Medicaid members. Our Case Management Team will:
Participation is voluntary, and members can choose whether or not to participate. DHS requires that these programs are available to all first-time Medicaid parents, parents/caregivers of children with identified risk factors (social, clinical, racial, economic, or environmental), and any infant/caregiver who requests support. Services are available from pregnancy through the child's first 18 months.
