Important Reminders and Updates for Medicaid Home Health Providers

On November 1, 2024, Highmark Wholecare transitioned to HHAeXchange as its payer-sponsored EVV solution. In HHAeXchange, providers are expected to manage diagnosis and rate information for claims billing management. There are resources available in the Knowledge Base of HHAeXchange on how these can be managed and prevent billing holds and claim issues:

Netsmart Key Dates and Information

  • The last date of service of claims that will be processed through Netsmart is October 31, 2024. Claims with dates of service on or after November 1, 2024 should be managed in HHAeXchange.
  • As of February 24, 2025: Netsmart updated the URL for the Mobile Caregiver+ EVV Provider Portal. This new URL must be used to access the Netsmart provider portal.
  • The cutoff date for access to Netsmart Mobile Caregiver + is April 30, 2025.

Before April 30, providers should resolve any outstanding issues for EVV and claims billing with Netsmart. Contact Netsmart support to address these issues using one of the following options:
