Important Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Vendor Update

Action Required from Medicaid Home Health Providers

Starting November 1, 2024, Highmark Wholecare will be transitioning their payer-sponsored Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system to HHAeXchange. Home health providers using Highmark Wholecare’s current EVV vendor, Netsmart, will receive additional information soon to begin the registration process in preparation for the go-live date. Registration requirements include completion of the HHAeXchange Provider Onboarding Form and attending Informational Training Sessions.

You can register for an Informational Training Session now! The sessions will be held on the following dates:

Session 1: Tuesday, September 17 at 10-12 p.m. EST
Session 2: Tuesday, September 27 at 2-4 p.m. EST

Highmark Wholecare is coordinating with HHAeXchange to ensure a smooth transition and maintain compliance with EVV requirements. Home health providers should be on the lookout for additional communications on this transition from Highmark Wholecare in upcoming Provider News emails.
