Highmark Wholecare Has a New Vision Vendor

We’re excited to announce that VSP (Vision Service Plan, Inc.) joined the Highmark Wholecare network on January 1. VSP has taken over from our previous vision vendor, Davis Vision/Versant Health.

What This Means for You

In order to participate in the Highmark Wholecare Medicaid and Medicare D-SNP networks for vision services, you must be a part of the VSP network. Please visit VSP’s Provider Hub and follow the steps to join their network.

This transition to VSP is part of our ongoing commitment to providing our members with high-quality, accessible vision care. VSP offers a wide range of services and an extensive network of providers, ensuring that our members have access to excellent vision care options.

Next Steps

To make this transition as smooth as possible, please take the following steps if you are not currently a VSP network provider:

1. Visit the VSP Provider Hub.
2. Complete the necessary registration and credentialing forms.
3. Review and familiarize yourself with VSP’s policies and procedures.
