FitOn Health Helps Medicare Members Achieve Fitness Goals

As mentioned previously, Highmark Wholecare has several benefit enhancements for Medicare D-SNP members in 2025, including the Fitness and Health benefit. This year, our new fitness vendor FitOn Health has replaced our previous program through SilverSneakers.

This new collaboration with FitOn Health offers your Highmark Wholecare Medicare Assured patients more flexibility and additional wellness perks! Our members receive 32 credits each month, which amounts to $80, that they can use to purchase a variety of fitness programs, such as gym memberships, in-person classes, and day passes.

Where Can Our Members Use Credits?

Through FitOn Health, our members can use any gym they’d like. FitOn has a large selection of in-network gyms that accept FitOn credits. However, members can also visit gyms that are not in the FitOn network by converting their credits into a digital debit card. This debit card can then be used to purchase classes or memberships at any extended network facility the member would like to use.

With this flexibility, our members can visit specific gyms that meet their unique health needs and achieve their individual fitness goals.

FitOn Health Supports Members Beyond the Gym

The program also offers a wide range of wellness perks on their website, allowing members to participate in virtual fitness classes, access digital recipes, and join educational programs about managing chronic conditions. Additionally, members can find helpful wellness classes on various topics like nutrition and stress management to support their overall health. All this and more are available on a member's FitOn Health Account without the use of their allotted credits. New users can learn more on our Highmark Wholecare website.
