CAHPS Cues: Reducing Wait Times at Appointments
This month, we’re focusing on how to ensure patients see their doctor within 15 minutes of their appointment time. Long wait times can significantly impact patient satisfaction, which is measured through the of the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAPHS) survey.
Patients schedule in-office appointments with the expectation of being seen promptly at their scheduled time. By starting an appointment no more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time, you can help create and sustain a superior care experience.
